The Farm House is newly remodeled 1200 sq ft home decorated with custom made furniture and local art (some available for purchase), with wrap around porch. The Farm House is equipped for the perfect family getaway, weekend of wine tasting, or a couples retreat. It has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower a full kitchen with all new appliances furnished to service any meal. The living room is equipped with a flat screen HDTV. There are also a few books , games and puzzles for your enjoyment. The house has WiFi and a small work space. If there is a need to do laundry, the house is equipped with a full size washing machine and dryer. There is a fenced backyard with a swing, fire pit and BB-Q. Also several out door games such as a giant jinga, corn hole toss and more. ​

​The Barn Studio is a memorable place and is anything but ordinary. Located in one of our active horse barns the studio apartment is newly painted and decorated, clean and comfortable. The Barn Studio has a full kitchen and bathroom with shower. Also flatscreen HDTV, WiFi, microwave, small work space/desk and a outdoor seating area with a BB-Q. Perfect for a couples weekend retreat. Our Barn Studio is perfect for guests seeking a unique experience. A fun and memorable place to recharge explore our Estate and the surrounding areas.

​What else you ask? The property is a 200 acre private Estate including a vineyard and equestrian center with Carriage Horses. Enjoy the trails, vineyards, horses and creek. Relax while sitting out on the porch or patio drinking coffee or wine while watching our carriage horses drive by, horses running and grazing in the surrounding pastures. Stroll around the property, past the pastures, through the vineyard and along the creek on private trails. Take a dip in our pool located in a double fenced area behind the hosts house but fairly private and secure by appointment. Our host lives on site and is available to answer questions or you can schedule a carriage ride to take in the view or a private walking tour of the estate, horses, carriages and beautiful barns. 

Sargent Estate is located on the border of the historic town of Lockeford and just 15 minutes from historic downtown Lodi. In 2015, Lodi was named Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast magazine. Lodi and its surroundings are well known for the cultivation of grapes and production of wine. There are several Wineries and Tasting Rooms within 15 or 20 minutes of the estate.

There is plenty of parking here on the ranch and just a short Uber or Lyft ride to Lodi for several wine and/or beer tasting options, great restaurants and oh yes tea tasting too.

"Taste of Lodi" is a popular food and wine event that brings tourism from local communities. It features over 40 award-winning Lodi wineries along with food selections from some of the area's finer restaurants and caterers. The event also features wine seminars, chefs' demonstrations, live music and a Port, Cigar and Chocolate Pavilion.

Other things to note:
  • We will go above and beyond to make sure your​ stay is perfect. Enjoy comfortable beds and all the comforts of home. 
  • You will be greeted by a "welcome basket" filled with goodies, some local cheese and a bottle of wine and if our chickens are cooperating, farm fresh eggs.
  • Pets welcome upon request. There will be an extra charge.
